Factory reset

Short answer

Remove the speaker from your Bluetooth list. Turn on the speaker, then press and hold the Source button and M button for 10 seconds.

Resetting Acton IV

A factory reset will reset the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates. Note: This will delete all user settings and the speaker will need to be set up again.

  1. Remove ACTON IV, and ACTON IV [LE] if present, from your sound device's Bluetooth list.

  2. Ensure that the speaker is on.

  3. Push and hold both the Source selector and the M-button for 10 seconds. All indicators start blinking and the speaker restarts.

The speaker has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
