The Marshall story took a new turn in 2023 when Marshall Amplification and Zound Industries officially joined forces to form Marshall Group. This was more than just a new name. It was the next step in a partnership that had been growing for over ten years, combining heritage, innovation and a shared love of music.

Since 2010, Zound Industries has helped bring the Marshall name beyond the stage, introducing people around the world to headphones and speakers inspired by Marshall’s famous sound. Through this collaboration, the brand reached a new generation of listeners while staying true to the character that defined Marshall from the beginning.  A decade of partnership. By forming Marshall Group, this expertise is now joined with the strong musical roots of Marshall Amplification, creating a company that serves both musicians and music lovers everywhere. The partnership reflects a shared vision: to build on Marshall’s legacy while continuing to innovate for modern audiences and new ways of listening.

“MARSHALL STANDS FOR POWERFUL, AUTHENTIC SOUND. TOGETHER AS MARSHALL GROUP, WE CAN GROW THAT LEGACY AND REACH MORE MUSIC LOVERS WORLDWIDE. ”

– JEREMY DE MAILLARD, CEO, MARSHALL GROUP

Honoring the Marshall heritage. While the company’s headquarters are in Stockholm, the home of Marshall Amplification in Milton Keynes continues to play a vital role. It not only continues to build some of the most beloved amplifiers, but it also stands as a symbol of the heritage created by Jim Marshall, often known as the Father of Loud, whose vision helped shape the sound of modern music.  The first product to arrive under the Marshall Group name was the Studio JTM amplifier, released in July 2023 to honour what would have been Jim Marshall’s 100th birthday. Hand-built in Bletchley, the amplifier pays tribute to the original JTM that helped define the Marshall sound and inspired generations of players.  Shaping the future of sound. Now that Marshall Group is established, the goal is clear. By combining decades of musical heritage with modern audio innovation, the company aims to keep shaping the future of sound and creating products and experiences that keep the world listening.
