Stolen Nova

Stolen Nova is the solo project of American musician, songwriter, model and actor Josh Landau, best known as the frontman of the stoner-punk trio The Shrine. After nearly a decade with The Shrine, Landau launched Stolen Nova, his own musical venture. Drawing on his early immersion in Venice, California’s skate culture, he continues to push his sound forward, blending psych-rock with skatepunk while evolving his artistic identity.  Beyond music, Landau has also made a mark in fashion and entertainment. His creative journey reflects a unique, dynamic fusion of music, fashion, skate culture, and entertainment, enabling him to leave a lasting impact across these interconnected realms.

Stolen Nova’s signature guitar sound is driven by a 1971 JMP Super Lead 100W Head paired with 1960A and 1960B cabinets, delivering the raw power and punch behind his explosive tone. The legendary Super Lead circuit lives on today in the 1959 Handwired Head.
