Combo Factory is an independent French cultural and creative group spanning music production, media, and publishing. In 2023, they expanded their vision with the launch of Combo Studio in Aubervilliers, just outside Paris. The space brings together recording and photography studios, podcast rooms, shared creative spaces, and a café where the community comes together. Each week, both emerging and established artists move between the facilities, making Combo Studio a vibrant meeting point for Paris's creative scene.
At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to removing barriers for artists. At Marshall, championing grassroots musicians means supporting the places where creativity happens every day, which is why Marshall gear can be found throughout Combo Studio. For many emerging artists, professional equipment is often expensive and inaccessible, so having it readily available gives artists the opportunity to experiment, develop their skills and create with trusted tools regardless of their resources.
Beyond the studio itself, Marshall gear is gifted to musicians and creators who regularly work at Combo Studio, supporting both established and emerging talent while strengthening authentic connections between Marshall and the wider Combo Factory community.
The partnership also comes to life during the events hosted at Combo Studio. During Fête de la Musique, Combo Café became a space for R&B listening sessions and DJ sets, with the Bromley 750 party speaker forming part of the sound system throughout the celebrations. Bringing artists and audiences together in the same space reinforces Combo Studio’s role as a place where music is created, shared and experienced as a community.
Supporting grassroots creativity means being present where artists actually work and spend their time, day after day. By helping to equip those spaces with professional tools, we're creating more opportunities for emerging talent, so more artists can create, collaborate and realise their potential.
