Troubleshooting: There is no TV sound
Short answer
Make sure that the TV is connected to the HDMI 1 (TV) port on the soundbar, and that the soundbar is connected to an eARC/ARC HDMI port on the TV.
HDMI ports
- Make sure that you have connected the TV to HDMI 1 (TV) on the soundbar.
- Check that you have connected the soundbar to an eARC/ARC HDMI port on the TV.
- Read your TV’s user manual for information about HDMI support, settings, and labelling of ports.
Audio settings
- Check the volume on the TV and the soundbar.
- Check the audio settings in the Marshall app.
Factory reset
A factory reset will reset the soundbar to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.
Note: This will delete all settings, Playlists, Wi-Fi and Heston 120 will need to be set up again.
- Remove Heston 120 from the app and Heston 120, and Heston 120 [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.
- Ensure that the soundbar is connected to mains power.
- Push Source control until all LEDs blink and the soundbar restarts.
- Heston 120 has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
