Troubleshooting : The speaker does not turn on

Short answer

Plug the speaker into a USB power source to charge it. The 10-segment battery indicator shows the battery charge. A rising animation indicates that the battery is charging.

Charge the speaker

  • Use the included USB-C cable to connect the speaker to a USB power source (15–27 W).

  • The USB-C power input port is located on the back of the speaker.

  • The 10-segment battery indicator shows the battery charge. A rising animation indicates that the battery is charging.

Resetting the speaker

A factory reset will reset the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates. Note: This will delete all user settings and the speaker will need to be set up again.

  1. Remove Kilburn III, and Kilburn III [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.

  2. Pull the power switch towards the front to turn the on.

  3. Push and hold both the M-button and the Bluetooth button until the Bluetooth indicator turns quickly red, and the speaker restarts.

  4. The speaker has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
