Troubleshooting : App setup
Short answer
Ensure that your source device is Bluetooth-paired with the speaker before beginning the app setup
Download the Marshall Bluetooth application.
Press and hold the Bluetooth® button until the LED turns to a slow red pulse to initiate pairing mode. Select Woburn III from the Bluetooth list on your audio device.
Open the Marshall Bluetooth application and press the + sign to add the device to the application. During the connection process, a Woburn III [LE] pairing request will appear and must be accepted.
Make sure the firmware is up to date by connecting the Woburn III to the Marshall Bluetooth app. The app confirms if the firmware is up to date in the "About" section of the app.
If the problem persists, try performing a factory reset. Also, remove/forget the speaker name from the Bluetooth list and clear the Bluetooth cache on your phone.
Clear Bluetooth cache on Android phones :
Go to Settings on your Android device.
Select Apps.
Click ⋮ to view the system apps.
Select Bluetooth from the list of applications, then select Storage.
Press Clear cache and exit Settings.
Clear the Bluetooth cache on the iPhone :
Go to "Settings" on your iPhone.
Tap on "Bluetooth".
Search for the Bluetooth device causing problems and tap the "i" icon next to it.
Choose "Forget this device".
Turn Bluetooth off and on and restart the phone. Please let us know if this does not resolve the problem you are experiencing.
If the problem persists, perform a factory reset. This will return the speaker to its original configuration, excluding any firmware updates.
