Troubleshooting : Speaker not discovered by the Google Home App

There can be several reasons why your speaker is not discovered by the Google Home app. Try these options to solve the issue:

  • Push and hold the Source button on top of the speaker for 3 seconds to set it to discoverable mode.

  • Make sure that your audio device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your speaker was configured on.

  • Restart the speaker by unplugging it from the wall socket, waiting for a full 15 seconds, then plugging it in again.

  • If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. This will delete all user settings, and you'll need to set up the speaker again. Push and hold both the Source button and the Play/Pause button for 7 seconds to reset the speaker.
