Troubleshooting : The sound is distorted

If your Acton Bluetooth Speaker sound output is distorted, there are several likely causes and troubleshooting options you can attempt:

  1. The volume is set to high on the sound source

    • Turn down the playback volume on the sound source.

  2. The sound file (mp3) is of poor quality

    • Try another sound file (mp3) or music player

  3. The volume is set to high on the Acton Bluetooth Speaker

    • Lower the volume on the Acton Bluetooth Speaker using the knobs on the top panel

  4. Too much bass / treble boost on the speaker

    • Lower the bass/ treble on the Acton Bluetooth Speaker using the knobs on the top panel
