Troubleshooting: Headphones not detected by device

Short answer

Check the volume on your sound device. Unplug your earphones, wait 3 seconds, then plug them back in.

If your device (phone, tablet or computer) doesn’t detect the earphones, try the following steps:

  • Make sure the USB-C plug is fully inserted.

  • Try another USB-C port, if available.

  • Test the earphones on another compatible device.

  • Check for debris or dust in the port or connector.

  • Restart your device.

  • Ensure the USB-C port is enabled for audio in your system settings.
