Troubleshooting: Erratic behaviour

Short answer

Ensure that Heston 120 has the latest firmware version in the Marshall app. Unplug it from the mains power, and wait for 15 seconds before plugging it back in. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.

Firmware updates

Follow the in-app instructions to ensure that it has the latest firmware version.

Hardware reset

Unplug Heston 120 from the mains power, and wait for 15 seconds before plugging it back in.

Factory reset

A factory reset will reset the soundbar to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.

Note: This will delete all settings, Playlists, Wi-Fi and Heston 120 will need to be set up again.

  1. Remove Heston 120 from the app and Heston 120, and Heston 120 [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.

  2. Ensure that the soundbar is connected to mains power.

  3. Push Source control for 10 seconds until all LEDs blink and the soundbar restarts.

  4. Heston 120 has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
