GEN AND THE DEGENERATES

Gen and the Degenerates are an English indie trio, fusing New York art-punk cool and British humour with the danceable pop of Chappell Roan and influences from Talking Heads and LCD Soundsystem. Fronted by Genevieve Glynn-Reeves, whose smart, perceptive lyrics never take themselves too seriously, the band is renowned for their brash energy and chaotic live shows. An incendiary live act, they have headlined multiple UK tours, played major festivals such as Truck, YNOT, and The Great Escape, and performed on the main stage at 2000trees, as well as at European festivals including Sziget and Reeperbahn. They've also toured the US in venues with capacities over 2,000 and were among the most talked-about acts at SXSW 2025.

With a new lineup and a renewed sense of purpose, Gen and the Degenerates are entering a new era with their second album, Earthly Delights. Reinvigorated by change, they have crafted their most ambitious and fully realised project yet. A streamlined distillation of their sound, more cohesive yet in the same breath more expansive, Earthly Delights, is a soundtrack to strange and bleak times: caustic, absurd yet never pessimistic.
