Badehaus

For emerging artists in Berlin, finding the right venue to take the stage and be heard is everything. Since 2011, Badehaus has been that place. Situated within the club scene of the RAW (Reichsbahn-Ausbesserungs-Werk) area in the district of Friedrichshain, the RAW is a sprawling cultural hub that was once a train repair station and, in 1999, became a cultural hot spot. Badehaus began as a small music salon with the simple belief that fresh talent deserves a professional platform that takes their work seriously. From the start, it has provided a safe, inclusive space where both artists and audiences feel welcome. 

Today, Badehaus has evolved into one of Berlin's go-to venues for rising talent and international acts on their first German tour. But what really sets it apart is their commitment to quality, not only in the design but also in the platform they provide to artists. Every detail is carefully considered. From the lovingly handcrafted warm wood panelling to the main-floor walls built with meticulous attention to acoustics, it creates a concert space where clarity and sound quality are paramount. The bar is physically separated from the performance area, ensuring shows remain undisturbed by background noise, encouraging audiences to lose themselves in the music. 

Since its launch, the venue has hosted artists from across the world and championed music from diverse genres and communities. With our support, Badehaus has equipped their stage with a complete backline, removing a significant barrier for new voices. By ensuring every performer has access to professional-grade equipment regardless of their resources, the venue has been able to expand its booking of new talent. Badehaus often pairs local Berlin artists with promising acts from beyond the region, including our very own Marshall Records artists. Many of these events have been free to enter, making live music more accessible to everyone and giving up-and-coming performers a professional stage to hone their craft.
