Placement

Short answer

Place Heddon high and in the centre of your speaker group to get the best range. Avoid enclosed and warm spaces.

Three black Marshall speakers and Heddon displayed on a gray surface against a gray background.

Finding the best placement

Place Heddon at waist height or higher in the centre of your speaker group to get the best range.

The connected speakers can usually be placed 15–25 metres from the streaming hub and still maintain a strong signal. The range may vary depending on the speaker model and obstacles such as thick walls or doorways.

Improving the connection

If you’re using a low‑power Wi‑Fi setup or notice interference from nearby devices, try repositioning Heddon to improve the signal strength.

Placements to avoid

Do not place Heddon:

  • inside cupboards

  • in enclosed spaces

  • on warm surfaces

This can affect performance and safety.
