Gliiico Move Through Tokyo

Gliiico(opens in a new window) are a three-piece band made up of brothers Kio, Kai and Nico, based in Tokyo, moving in the space where music, fashion and identity constantly overlap. Their sound carries a sense of duality, drawing from nostalgic textures while still feeling modern and immediate, something that looks back and forward at the same time without ever settling in one place. There’s a natural cohesion in how they operate, not just as musicians but as a unit, where individual style and collective identity feed into each other rather than compete.

That sense of balance is shaped by the city around them. Tokyo is not a backdrop to Gliiico, it’s part of the system they move through. A place where ideas circulate fast, where fashion, sound and visual culture constantly overlap and shift. Nothing stays still long enough to become fixed, and that rhythm has shaped the way the band approaches everything they create. They exist in motion, responding to their environment rather than stepping outside of it.

That’s also what defines the way they connect with the world beyond music. Everything feels linked to movement, how they dress, how they present themselves, how they translate energy into something visual as well as sonic. It’s less about building an image and more about reflecting the pace of the world they’re already in. It’s from that perspective that the collaboration begins to take shape. Gliiiico were chosen to be the faces for the Milton A.N.C. campaign, but the connection wasn’t built on positioning or geography alone. It came from a shared understanding of life in motion, and how sound fits into that reality rather than sitting outside of it.

Built for everyday environments that rarely slow down, Milton A.N.C. is designed around the inbetween moments that define modern life. Commuting through crowded streets, moving through work, or switching into downtime, it’s made to adapt rather than interrupt. Sound becomes something that moves with the environment rather than against it, shifting as the day shifts. That idea aligns directly with Gliiico. What they represent as a band, fluidity, contrast, movement, becomes a real-world expression of that same thinking. Nothing about the collaboration feels forced into place. It feels like two worlds already operating on the same frequency, meeting in the middle.

Shot in Tokyo at night, the campaign leans into that reality rather than constructing something separate from it. The city becomes part of the rhythm, light moving across surfaces, people and sound and space constantly overlapping, everything caught in transition rather than stillness. It reflects the way Tokyo actually feels when you move through it, fast, layered, and always shifting. The collaboration also sits within a wider shift, where creative scenes are increasingly shaping global music culture from within their own environments. Not as influence filtered outward, but as something lived and built locally first.
Gliiico(opens in a new window) sit right inside that shift. Rooted in Tokyo but never contained by it, they move between identity, sound and space without separating them. Everything is connected, and everything stays in motion.
